Still, there are some particular signs but you should also mind that every sign of any cancer will be different depending on the size of the tumor, the stage the cancer is in, and other factors such as the person’s current health and history. Absolutely not. My sister had stage four rectal cancer just before she turned 60 (she didn't tell me it was stage four until much later) and she had radiation, surgery, and chemo. She is alive today and turning 70 in September. She didn't even lose her hair from the chemo, although it got a little thinner. She was left with some residual issues from the radiation but otherwise she's doing well. She's going to be released by her oncologist next year and I'm going to be there with her when she rings the bell. No matter what the stage, as long as you're above ground, there's hope.
